Where can you go nonstop from Texas?
Some of the most popular places to fly to from Texas are in Mexico. With Cancún being the most sought after destination. Having a flight that is leaving in the morning and the ability to be at your hotel in under 4 hours, it’s an easy choice. From Cancún, you can easily head to destinations south of the city but, have you ever stayed inland in the Yucatán? There really is so much to see and do in this area!
Another very popular destination is Costa Rica. With flights to San Jose and Liberia from most of our airports mentioned here with only slightly longer flight times than Cancún, it really is a favorite.
Please note that due to the Covid-19 travel nightmare, some of these routes previously here mentioned didn’t happen, like nonstops to Paris on Norweigian. Others have been temporarily supended byt are starting to back. Fingers crossed—we will see these sort of routes come back.

Though not an international destination, a flight worth mentioning is one of Hawaiian’s newer nonstops is from Austin to Honolulu, which at the time of writing leaves at 10:00am CST and arrives around 1:35pm (GMT-10). Now we are talking! Getting half-way to Asia before it’s even time to have dinner is pretty awesome!

International nonstop flights from Dallas/Ft. Worth
The Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport is the largest in the United States. With nonstop flights to 38 different countries and over 250 great destinations, its easy to get your vacation on sooner.
American Airlines has the most nonstop flights from DFW, and while many are seasonal flights, it is still easy to escape somewhere fabulous anytime of the year.
With more international nonstop flights flying out of DFW, it might make more sense than connecting out of one of the smaller cities in Texas. Fortunately, for many of us living in Texas, the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport is easy enough to get to in around 3 hours, which is about the same amount of time as taking a connecting flight from other cities and laying over—also decreasing your risk for flight delays. If going away on a short trip, leaving from Dallas might make more sense unless you are getting dropped off at the airport.
If you are looking for those nonstop flights for a quick getaway, Central America and Mexico are very well served from the Dallas-Ft. Worth airport and you could be enjoying cocktails on the beach in no time at all. Making the decision to get out of town is even easier with generally cheap fares to destinations like Cancún or Costa Rica—leaving few excuses for you to not get out of town for a bit of relaxation and fun.
