Oceania is an incredible explosion of island nations, overseas territories, countless archipelagos in all, has more than 10,000 islands spread out over about 8.5 million square kilometers of the central and south Pacific Ocean! The four major regions of Oceania are Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia, and Australasia.
