What is a travel package?
A travel package is when you are invoiced by a travel supplier, and it is paid in one total amount for all of the components of your tour, trip, or cruise.
Deposit and payment schedules are arranged and agreed to with the travel supplier. We are facilitating this and working to protect your investment. Within packages are things like air tickets, car rentals, tours, experiences, and other travel related products and services.
Plan To Go Fee For Travel Packages
We will charge, at a minimum, a $250.00 fee for every client where some research and planning is involved. This fee is non-refundable. If you have to cancel for any reason, the fee remains non-refundable for services rendered.
With respect to travel suppliers and provides, their refunds and deposits are subject to their terms and conditions. As a courtesy, $150 of our fee can be applied to future plans if the itinerary is the same. We always suggest travel insurance. When you purchase the insurance through us, we can handle any claims on your behalf freeing you from all of the hassles.
What does our fee cover?
- Our fee covers things like providing you with a detailed itinerary that is tailored to you. We provide this in the form of an app for your phone and it can also be viewed on other devices and printed.
- Our fee covers curated activities, restaurant suggestions and other things tailored to your needs.
- Our fee covers arranging, re-arranging, negotiating services, attempting to procure things like upgrades, research, logistical planning and more. Every trip and every client differs and so does the fee. We always tell you upfront what that fee would be.
What is Not Covered Under Standard Planning Fees
- Unknown Destination or When You Will Go – If you are not sure where you are going, or when you are going, or both, there is an extra fee to cover extra research in addition to standard planning fees planning. For example, You want to go to Europe but are not sure where. There are 50 countries in Europe. Looking for the “best deals” takes a great deal of time and the information provided is fluid. We suggest narrowing it down as being unsure will result in higher fees. There are simply too many variables to travel and it’s a big world when you don’t know where to go.
- Air Research – When you do not not where and/or when you are going, we have additional fees. We do not typically earn commissions on Air and if we do, it is so small of an amount that it is not worth mentioning. This is an extremely time consuming process and prices change daily, weekly and sometimes even every few hours. Depending on the nature of your travels, this fee could range from $50 to $250 on average. If you do not know when you are going, and are just looking for best deals, this could be even more as it requires multiple checks and redo’s. There are far too many variables when being creative for finding the “best deals.”

- Our standard planning fees do not include non-commissionable services, activities or accommodations. Our planning fee is low because we assume that all bookings will be commissionable to us. If you want us to look for accommodations like Airbnbs, or direct properties, we will charge a 10% booking fee of the room total before taxes and fees.
Free Services
— When you already know what your travel plans are and we are just handling your bookings and travel management, then we do not have a fee. In the event of cancellations, we will charge a $25.00 booking fee for each booking made to cover our time and services.
— If you are a frequent traveler and/or a business client, we may waive these fees at our discretion.
— We offer all clients a free consultation. Generally, this is about 30 minutes, We will provide you with a quote for our services and once you agree to work with us, we will invoice you. Work commences when invoices are paid in full and you have from hello until your return home, safe and sound!
